Soluna x Nimbus Co Bondi, Sydney
Soluna takes Sydney: A Soluna experience at our beloved Nimbus Co Bondi
After months of Soluna Society pop-ups in Melbourne, we finally brought our first class to Sydney and it was magic.
Anna now lives in Sydney, and with so many of her friends keen to experience the class, and a few of Gracie’s Melbourne friends having recently moved up, it felt like a full-circle moment. But what made this class truly special was seeing unfamiliar names on the sign-up list, people we’d never met. It showed us that Soluna Society is growing beyond our immediate circles. That reach, that ripple - it’s everything.
We started the day around 6:30am after sharing a bed (classic us) and waking up together. Gracie was staying with Anna, and it felt grounding to begin the day in sync. Thankfully, we’d already dropped the mats and headphones at Nimbus Co the day before, so all we had to do was jump in an Uber and head to Bondi (with a chai and coffee stop).
This was our first-ever outdoor class, and the weather gods delivered: 18 degrees, sunny, crisp. With 30 people booked (our biggest class yet), we moved into setup mode with that now-familiar rhythm — mats, headphones, gentle check-ins with each other. It’s second nature to us now.
As guests arrived, the energy lifted. Smiles, hugs, curiosity. We could feel it in the air — people were ready.
The class itself was themed around light and dark, a concept that feels especially relevant in winter. We all experience both, but so often we’re taught to avoid or suppress the darkness. This session invited people to sit with it, honour it and integrate it. To remember that being human is messy and beautiful and never linear and that’s okay.
We moved through the five elements — air, earth, fire, water, spirit — with an intentionally fiery sequence to stoke the body’s heat and shake up energy. That warmth, paired with the Sydney sun, brought intensity and release. By the time we reached the water element and back to spirit with EFT tapping, something cracked open. There were tears. Deep emotion. Real shifts.
Afterwards, people came up to share their stories. Some were navigating breakups. Others, self-doubt. One guest told us she’d been in a creative block writing her book, and the class helped her reconnect with herself. She cried as she spoke, saying she finally felt clear and aligned again. This kind of feedback neevr gets old, and we both truly appreciate the honesty and rawness of the experiences people have coming to our classes.
We wrapped up the session with a sauna, ice baths, warm tea, and gentle conversations. A moment to integrate, connect and share. That post-class glow hit differently in Sydney.
After packing up, we got on with our day - a sauna, a boyfriend call, some social posts (of course) and our next job. Tired, but overflowing with pure joy!
This was a milestone for Soluna Society. And the start of something so, so special in Sydney.
With love,
Gracie & Anna
