Sleeping Meditation ~ To Unwind

It's the middle of the night. You’re watching the clock. Perhaps you've been lying there since you turned the lights off, mind still moving at the pace of the day. Thoughts looping, body tense, sleep feeling just out of reach. This meditation was made for exactly that moment - led by Gracie.

Best experienced lying in bed, this seven-minute practice moves you gently away from the thinking mind and back into the body - the place where sleep actually lives. We begin with the breath, using it as an anchor to slow the pace of the nervous system and signal to your body that it is safe to rest. From there, we move into a simple observation of thought - not pushing anything away, but learning to watch without following - before releasing into a slow, head-to-toe body scan that melts tension layer by layer, from crown to feet.

Benefits:

  • Quiets an overactive mind at bedtime or during night waking

  • Uses breath to regulate and slow the nervous system

  • Builds the skill of observing thoughts without engaging them

  • Releases physical tension through a progressive body scan

  • Creates the internal conditions for deep, natural sleep

Seven minutes to let the day go.
